June 14, 2000Born on April Fools Day in El Paso Texas, Debbie remained there till the age of eight. Her father, a carpenter, wasn then transferred Southern California. The Reynolds family, including Debbie's parents and older brother Bill, settled in Burbank. While in high school, Debbie entered and won the "Miss Burbank" contest. Debbie didn't want to win, she only entered to receive the free blouse given to contestants. Debbie won the contest by doing an imitation of Betty Hutton singing "My Rockin' Horse Ran Away."
She made her screen debut in "The Daughter of Rosie O'Grady, but her first significant role was in the MGM musical, "Three Little Words". The rest is history!
Debbie has had many successful films including "Singing in the Rain," "The Tender Trap", "Tammy and the Bachelor", etc. etc. etc. etc.!!!!!
